Before you can start playing the game, you’ll need to lock Lands and Unicorns into the game. This can take some time as you’ll have to lock them in one at a time. You will be able to navigate around the game once the transaction starts though, so once you get your first land in you can start setting your lands and buildings up.
You’ll want to delist from any secondary markets before locking them into the game, as any asset locked in the game is unsellable and nontransferable. Lands must be idle for at least 8 hours prior to unlocking—this means that there must be no activity happening in any of the buildings at least 8 hours before you unlock.
How to Lock your NFTs into the game
Click on Unicorns or Lands Tabs
To Lock In →
Click on Unlocked Tab
You’ll see all your Land or Unicorn NFT assets that are in your Wallet but not in the game.
Clicking on Lock prompts a transaction.
Once your Land is locked in the game, the Add button will highlight. Unicorns will immediately be available after Locking them in.
Clicking on that will add the Land to the game.
To Unlock your NFT from the game→
Before being able to unlock a Land, you must remove the Land from the map. To remove your land, all of the buildings on that Land must be idle.
Unicorns also must be idle to Unlock them from the game.
To remove your Land, go to the Player Inventory and click on Lands.
Clicking on Remove will remove the Land from your area and enable the Unlock Button.
To get your Land or Unicorn NFTs in the game back into your Wallet go to Player Inventory and click on the Locked Tab for Lands or Unicorns.
Clicking on Unlock will prompt a wallet transaction (remember, lands must be removed to enable the Unlock button).
Lands have Levels and Upgrading your Land Level provides two benefits:
To upgrade your buildings, you will also need to upgrade your land level. The building upgrade popup will tell you what land level you need to continue upgrading.
To upgrade your Land, you need Land XP. Earn Land XP by constructing and upgrading buildings on the Land.
