Here are a few things to note when playing Crypto Unicorns!
The first time you load the game it will take a while. This is because we frontload the download of all the assets to make sure that you have a smooth experience once in the game. The build is about 100MB so it can take a while depending on your connection, but once it’s been downloaded all subsequent sessions should load quickly! However, if you clear your cache or use a different browser the game will need to download all the assets again.
Once you connect your wallet and wait for the game to load, you’ll be sitting in the clouds! The first thing you’ll need to do is Lock your Lands & Unicorns so you can start using them. This can take a bit of time, especially if you have a lot of land & unicorns to bring into the game (lucky you!) as you’ll have to do them one by one. You’ll want to delist the NFTs before locking them into the game. Any asset locked in the game is unsellable and nontransferable.
The first time you load the game you won’t have any land or unicorns available until you lock them into the game.
If you only have Unicorns, you’ll be fairly limited with what you can do at this point. We’ll have more features in the future, but since farming is the focus of our initial launch the gameplay is focused on the unicorns working on the land.
Now that you have Land and Unicorns in the game, you’ll need to start building Farms, a Gathering Cart, maybe a Workshop or Nursery, or a Stables if you have lots of ‘corns.
As mentioned in our 🌟 Tips and Tricks, sending unicorns to gather with the Gathering Cart is a key activity you’ll want your unicorns to focus on but you’ll have to decide what’s best for you and your Unicorns.
🍒 Farming will be useful to get you lots of berries, and maybe if you have a surplus you can send them to the 🌈 Rainbow Marketplace.
